It began in 1995 when Philippe Giraud, the heir to three generations of cellar masters of a prestigious “maison de cognac”, left France to join a renowned producer of Scotch whisky. After exploring the world and developing a passion for the category, Philippe reunited with his family to merge their expertise and create Alfred GIRAUD French Malt Whisky. Their mission is to produce the most exquisite whisky by pushing the boundaries of exploration and innovation. Maison GIRAUD is a family-owned whisky house which controls the production of Alfred GIRAUD French Malt Whisky from barley selection to glass.
